I've had no problem inserting a phone number but I have not been able
to update an existing phone number -- and I get no exceptions thrown
either. Can somebody please help me?
I can update their name, e-mail, etc. but not their phone number.
contentValues.put(Contacts.Phones.PERSON_ID,
personId);
contentValues.put(Contacts.Phones.TYPE,
Phones.TYPE_MOBILE);
contentValues.put(Contacts.Phones.NUMBER,
updatedInfo.getMobileNumber());
getContentResolver().update(
Uri.withAppendedPath(Contacts.Phones.CONTENT_URI, personId),
contentValues, null, null);
This just doesn't work and I have no idea why.
