While trying to get adb to recognize my G1 on Suse Linux, I took a closer look at some of the command arguments. Can someone please explain the meaning of "ANDROID_PRODUCT_OUT" and what it specifies? Is the product name totally arbitrary, or is it supposed to be specific to the g1 like "HTC Android Phone"?
Suppose my G1 device is linked to /dev/android. Can I use the ANDROID_PRODUCT_OUT or -p argument to tell adb where it can look for the device? adb -p /dev/android -Marc --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
