+1, I am also interested in it. I have installed two of the first free applications from the Android Market listed when looking for "barcode": Barcode Scanner from ZXing Team and pic2shop by Vision Smarts. Unfortunately, both do not allow this simple feature: scan a barcode using the camera to put the string of digits at the cursor position. Do not tell me I have to develop an application from scratch to get this... PinkSharK
