Details: • Developing optimized Linux drivers for peripherals such as cameras and LCDs • Porting and optimizing drivers, codecs and plugins to Linux/Android multimedia frameworks. • Adapting Android multimedia frameworks to operate seamlessly with 2D/ 3D hardware graphics accelerators Job Requirements • 10 years hands on software development experience. • Proficient with Android multimedia frameworks. Must have hands on experience adapting and optimizing codecs, driver and/or hardware graphics accelerators to an Android platform. • Excellent embedded Linux skills specializing in video codec development and/or camera, display, and graphics driver development. • Excellent hands on and architectural skills in the area of multimedia frameworks such as OpenMax and V4L2 adaptation. • Strong embedded software debugging skills. • Proven ability to analyze, prioritize, adapt and learn quickly in a demanding, performance-based environment.
