As far as I know, unless you deliberately create a SQLite database on the SD card, the databases are created in a protected area of the phone/device's storage. Other applications don't have access to them at all unless your app has a shared key if I remember correctly, and I think they (the "attacking apps") have to be signed with the same key that your app is as well.
