Hi! This is a question about "sample sync adapter" of developer.android.com. (You can find it as searching by "sample sync adapter" on developer.android.com)
I don't know what "contacts.xml" is for. (res/xml/contacts.xml) Though I removed that xml file from my application, the sync adapter worked and the user could add new account. Is it mandatory?
