I traced it down to this snippet of code...
for (int j=0; j<gpItems.size();j++){
GeoPoint Y = gpItems.get(j);
OverlayItem overlayPics =
newOverlayItem(Y,"","");
itemizedOverlay.addOverlay(overlayPics);
Y=null;
}
mapOverlays.add(itemizedOverlay);
Supposedly the populate() is done in the AddOverlay method:
public void addOverlay(OverlayItem overlay) {
mOverlays.add(overlay);
populate();
}
I think I'll just have to reformulate all my Overlays classes.
