Really? Then what is http://source.android.com/source/using-eclipse.html all about? It says "Platform development", and uses several other key phrases that make it clear it is not just about building Android applications.
In particular, it says, " if you are looking for information on how to use Eclipse to develop applications that run on Android, this is not the right page for you.
