I've also tried to animate the footer into the negative area of the screen as well as changing the paddingBottom to a negative value but both trials didn't work.
There must be a solution for that. I mean, changing views dependent on the state of the soft keypad is an important thing to increase usabillity on those small screen areas, where space is an expensive factor!
