In principle I would agree, but my experiences with two devices is a
different
one : It can behave like a "Tab" under windows i.e.
I.e. write two simple apps .. one has button and a counter and sends
an intents when you press
the button to popup the second app ( and increase the counter for each
send intent).
When you are right, the "most recent application list" would start
every time a new app one and
you see the counter to be zero, but this is not what I see.
We are using this feature to start on our older G1 a terminal with
native xml-rpc server and a GUI as
as XML-RPC Client .. and we can switch between both running apps
without problems.
So I would say, that it behaves in this way :
- starts apps new, which are stopped by pressing back
- go to running apps, when you use the recent application
tab to move away from them.
