I am using the GPS and something I do in my program causes the GPS icon in the notification area of my phone to disappear for a few seconds then come back, then disappear again. None of the other GPS programs I use have this "problem"... if it is actually a problem. I've read all kinds of articles about the GPS icon staying on after the program exits, but I can't find anything about it disappearing while the application is using it.
