I'm running Vista 64 and not looking to start a holy OS war here.
It's what I run and I can't change it, so "just run XP 32-bit" is not
a good answer.

The Windows USB driver is listed as only 32 bit and doesn't work for
my OS. I tried. I'm at the tail end of developing a game and just
need to work out a few kinks that exist only on the actual G1 itself.
I have logging statements in that may help me but no way to view the
log!

Does the HTC 64 bit driver work in any way or is there any workaround
I can do short of running VMWare or dual booting? I just need a way
to view the logs on the actual device.

Thanks!
