There has been some problems reported with applications looking stretched on some devices. The main entry point for documentation on how to handle diversed screen sizes is: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html I sincerely recommend it for reading.
In specific, lots of cases are solved by adding <supports-screens android:anyDensity="false"> </supports-screens> to the AndroidManifest.xml.
