Hi, I have an application which access database information and I need to retrieve this information inside a service (subclass of Service) method. In order to access the database info, I need to call the method managedQuery of an Activity instance but I don't know how to get an instance of Activity from my service class. I've thought about starting an activity from my service but I don't know how to do that.
Does anyone have an idea of how to do that or suggest another approach?
