I represent Packt Publishing, the publishers of computer related books. We are planning to expand our catalogue of OpenSource books and are planning to publish some books on Android. Currently we are inviting people interested in writing Android books to get in touch with us. This doesn't require any past writing experience. All that we expect from our authors is a good knowledge of their subject and an ability to communicate clearly in English. Some of the areas that we would find interesting include: · Android game development · Android application development · Android TV widgets and applications · Android best practices for application development This list is definitely not exhaustive. If you have any other interesting book ideas, we are keen to hear them.
