Is there an updated list of media files that are supported on 2.2? I'm fairly certain that the list located at: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/media-formats.html is outdated.
I have a file that's using: - AAC for audio encoding - AVC for video encoding - MPEG-4 for it's file container And it's not playing on a Nexus One with 2.2 installed. Similar to this post (http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/ browse_thread/thread/19ee370282b8b5dc/f2e81ee7ef8feff7? lnk=gst&q=2.2+video#f2e81ee7ef8feff7) the same file plays on three different 2.1 devices from different hardware manufacturers (I wanted to rule out manufacturers adding additional codecs).
