You are misusing the principle behind the old saying, "to err is human, to forgive, divine". Sure, they writers are only human, but the pattern of errors, the number of errors, and the age of them -- they leave so many unfixed -- says something more: it says that Google doesn't really care about quality documentation.
This is not good for the future of Android.
