Cannot ping my Droid 2 (Android 2.2) phone when it is connected over the Verizon data network. Can ping the same Droid 2 phone when it is connected over a WiFi network. Can ping the older Droid (Android 2.1) over the same networks (Verizon and WiFi) at the same location. IP addresses are valid in all cases and network connectivity (web etc.) works just fine.
Is there a particular reason why this combination of Droid 2 and/or Android 2.2 and the Verizon network makes it unreachable from the internet via IP address?
