Hi, I'm not really sure this is the best approach to this problem nor if it suits your needs, but you can always send a broadcast to the tab hosting activity with intent extras stating which tab you want to change and target activity to show and create the tabhost all over again with proper activities (from a brief look I didn't find any method to remove or change specific tab from tabhost).
