This is not the correct way to declare in Manifest file
it should be like
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
package="com.example.AutoCompleteDemo"
android:versionCode="1"
android:versionName="1.0">
<application android:icon="@drawable/icon" android:label="@string/
app_name">
<activity android:name=".app_name"
android:label="@string/app_name">
<intent-filter>
<action
android:name="com.droidea.birthday.EditBirthdayActivity" />
<category
android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
</application>
</manifest>
I hope it will work.
