Don't thank them too profusely yet. They all left out the most important consideration: make sure your application checks for 'null' coming back from Context.getSystemService(), since a tablet might not have all the same system services a phone does. In particular, obviously, many tablets have no telephony service. So you have to check for null and handle it gracefully.
Finally, though he didn't actually put it that way in so many words, you should be able to figure out from Droid's comment that you need to handle screen sizes and densities that are unusual on a phone.
