The company I work for is looking to send someone off for formal training in Android, that person most likely being me. Mailing list regular Mark Murphy is holding a 5-day course in December through Big Nerd Ranch but my company is hoping to do this in the next month. Knowing who he is makes me feel more comfortable suggesting that course but since I can't wait that long, I'm having trouble finding other offerings and feeling comfortable about recommending them.
Aside from Big Nerd Ranch, the only other offering I can find is through Marakana [1]. I've not heard of these folks before, which doesn't mean much since I've never really looked either. I'm curious to know if anyone here has gone through any formal training, or if you could where would you look?
