I've updated AndAppStore to allow upload submitted apps to Amazons S3
service with the correct MIME type to fire off the download installer
when the user installs.

If you want to make use of this you'll need to have your own S3 account
(you can sign up at http://aws.amazon.com/s3/) and then add the access
key details in your "My Profile" page on AndAppStore.com in order to see
the extra option. Once you've supplied your access key details you can
go to the "My Submissions" page, then click on your app (or add a new
app) and you'll see an option "Submit new release & host on S3".
Clicking on this will take you to the release submission page with a
file upload box instead the normal URL text entry field.

Once you submit your release AndAppStore.com will upload the file to S3
and use the files S3 URL for downloads, the S3 is usable by anyone so
you can use it on your own web pages if you want.

Given S3's pricing I hope this will give anyone who has had trouble
finding hosting for their APK a cheap place to make their app available.

Al.
