I hope the irony of following up "I don't have time to go into ..." with a long rant is not lost on you. > He responds to just about every single thread, more often than not with a > useless comment. > I do post a lot - guilty - and yes some are "useless" where I'm just having fun with silly posts. Sue me. More often than not, though, I'm actually trying to help the poster, either by directing them to where they can find an answer, asking them to clarify their question so they can get a good answer, or providing an answer directly. Again, review my posting history and leave your biased feelings toward me out of it. > Each time promoting his site, his app, and himself. > So I have a link to my site in my signature? That offends you? Is this your first internet forum? This is pretty common practice ... And how exactly am I promoting *myself*? Here's a great example - Mark Murphy, who posted earlier, also posts a lot, has his name, 4 links, and a promo to the new version of his book in his signature. Is he spamming? Or is it just when I do it? He contributes nothing else to this group. I'm starting to suspect you have stock in this guy's product ... > Every time I reply, I at least attempt to help the poster in a way and not > just be a sarcastic douche. > Aw ... you're such a good person! Would you like a cookie for being such a model citizen? So, wait ... I don't try to help? However big of a sarcastic douche you may find me to be, don't make short-sighted blanket statements about my contributions here. Again ... review my posting history. > He should look at himself, he can be just as annoying as that other guy. > So you admit the guy you were defending is annoying. Thank you. I accept your apology.
