Hi Developers, I have no idea about Android and sadly, I have got an Android Project to be completed for my graduation.
I know there are so many experts out here who spend 24 x 7 in this. Can someone please look into this project abstract and help me in technical ways as on how to go about this project. What APIs can be implemented so that I can quicken up my project completion. Please find below the abstract. Project Title: Location Based Service Agents for Mobile Software Distribution Project Description: Today’s mobile telephony is no longer restricted to voice communication. Mobile usage has expanded to include data services and providing computing power on the go. User downloads application onto their mobile phone in order to utilize their services. As more applications are developed, a significant number of applications becomes obsolete as they are rapidly replaced by newer content. User often only requires the application at the moment of need and do not need to keep the application for long term. User location has become an important context for developers as they seek to deliver relevant content to the user in appropriate situation. We notice that application distribution can be reinvented by pushing relevant application to users when they are in a service area and automatically removed when they are no longer needed outside the service area. A prototype service area identification system is already in place to identify smart spaces for our purpose. The concept uses cell tower identification methods as well as wireless radio signal signature to uniquely identify smart physical space of any shape. This project seeks to develop an extension to this system by incorporating distribution mechanism for software based on user presence in a smart space.
