Sure they could. In fact, the Army already uses such navigation systems in active duty. I, however, am a mere officer cadet with a sweet new G1 that I'm trying to use to make my life easier. Most of our equipment is outdated, second hand, or borrowed. We're definitely not getting advanced GPS navigation systems from USACC. So if I can find a way to use my G1 in STX lanes and LandNav, then that would be great!
