Since upgrading to SDK 8 I cannot use the Eclipse debugger and DDMS at the same time. The error I get in the Eclipse console when I start DDMS is:
[2010-10-04 08:00:12 - DeviceMonitor]Adb connection Error:An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host [2010-10-04 08:00:13 - DeviceMonitor]Connection attempts: 1 After this error, the Eclipse debugger cannot attach. The only way to fix it is to shut down DDMS and Eclipse and restart Eclipse. This is quite inconvenient.
