Current projects include Apple iOS apps, Android, and various set-top box (Roku, Boxee, Blu-Ray players, XBOX360, PS3) and television streaming applications (Vizio, Samsung). The ideal candidate is strong in both programming and aesthetic design. The ideal candidate is able to learn new SDKs and APIs quickly, and has a knack for creating highly usable interfaces. Responsibilities * Work with server-side developers and graphic designers to create video streaming products for Android Market. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent * 2-5 years experience in programming and consumer-facing software development * Ability to learn new SDKs and deploy applications for various platforms quickly * Expert in web serving technologies, especially media streaming * Competent with Java, Eclipse, Android Pluses * Prior experience with Android app development highly desired but not necessary if you can learn fast * Experience with Apple iOS app development * Familiarity with web development (PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS) * Adheres to the methodology of separating presentation from structure * Some understanding of security (DRM) About Crunchyroll Crunchyroll, Inc. is a VC-backed media-technology startup based in SOMA San Francisco.
