Well, the problem with this approach is that it is not FOOL PROOF. I dont think it's mentioned anywhere in the Docs that the title bar would always contain a texview with this id.
So, the best bet I would suggest is go for a theme with no default title, and add a custom view which looks like a title. You will then have full control over it.
