I've claimed my app on AppBrain. AppBrain is just like AndroLib and
other such sites that just scrape the market and post it on the
website. They don't distribute apps directly.

I've never seen a comment in the market at all from AppBrain, much
less a spammy comment. I see tons of AppBucket, which is a totally
different site, that is all about piracy. Maybe you are confusing the
two?

Anyway, this is a digression from the original topic. i'm not talking
about sites that promote the market, but site that distribute pirated
apks.

I haven't calculated how much time I spend sending DMCAs, but I treat
it like a game of whack-a-mole. I kind of get a kick out of watching
forum commenters whine that all the links are down. Take downs are
really easy for big file sharing services.
