I am initiating the design of an application that would require an Android phone to connect to another Android phone via Ad-Hoc networking with or w/o security. I would like to know if Android supports ad-hoc networking.
I would also like to know what is the average range of the wifi signal from an Android handset point-to-point with no obstructions. I cannot find any information about this on the web.
