Yes, I think for the price it offers many features .. and it is small. Yes, you need a special drivers as this device comes with a composit usb interface. But with the PC Suite driver download it works out of the box.
But note that the the GT 540 I have uses a rather old android version, so you need to check whether the update is already available. Good luck !
