I really would like to know as well. Ideally I'd like to animate both expanding/collapsing as well as list scrolling. I'm able to jump to a specific list item without a problem, but doing so in a smooth manner seems tricky - outside of a series of jumps to intermediate points, but that's hardly a pretty solution.
