I have tought of that, but one of the types is an image that spans the whole cell. This is why I need two different selectors: One needs to be drawn on top of the item and the other needs to be drawn as background ...
I think I'll go with the border workaround (make the items a little bit smaller then the cell so that the selector is visible) If anyone has another solution, feel free to post!
