I would like to add my voice to this also... there have been MANY
returns to store of the white and brown G1 units due to the fact that
in poor lighting the backlight is the same brightness as the keys
themselves!

So in certain lighting, i.e. subdued all the keys appear silver with
no legends easily seen.

Obviously this is unnaceptable, so the only workaround would be to
have a manual over-ride to turn off the light completely OR to adjust
the sensitivity of the LDR - which I assume it must have, as the
keyboard backlight doesn't (to my eyes) always come on esp. in bright
light.

THE FIRST DEVELOPER TO IMPLEMENT THIS SMALL APP TO THE MARKETPLACE
WILL WIN THE ADMIRATION OF MANY WHITE/BROWN G1 OWNERS!

;O)
