The current platform version distribution of devices accessing the android market is: Android 1.5 3 7.9% Android 1.6 4 15.0% Android 2.1 7 40.8% Android 2.2 8 36.2% With Android 1.5 only represents 8% it might be worth it to only target 1.6 or higher.
