Sorry, posting again, as first one didn't show up... I need my EditText box to shrink to a certain size, with ellipses (...), if the message is too long, after the user is done typing. So, it starts like normal, empty. You type away, and it expands like normal. When you are done typing, the text box should shrink to, say, 5 lines height, with ellipses, to represent the unseen text. Thanks
