The emulator (started with Eclipse, NetBeans or the command line) works well until I try to close it. At that point, it will not die. The OS is XP, java is 1.6.0_23-ea (tried it on 1.6.0_7 also.) Some observations:
1. Every time the emulator starts, it starts two processes as reported by the XP task manger. 2. After clicking 'Close' (the 'X' in the upper right corner of the emulator window), the task shows as 'Not responding' in the task manager. 3. The task manager fails to close the task. 4. If started from a command window, after clicking 'Close', the command window is unresponsive and can not be closed. 5. The rest of the workstation will continue to function until you attempt to shut it down whereupon it becomes unresponsive. 6. The only way to reset the workstation is to power it off. 7. I have tried different avds. Anyone have any ideas? TIA, Carl -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
