No. If by discover, you mean find, no. Why do I say that? A keyword search will include both paid and free results, so you can generally make a paid app show up in any search result that a free app would. People can discover your app by browsing the category/free section. But since I am number 368 in the free section, and in the top 20 of the paid section, I don't think more people are 'discovering' my app because I have a free version. But I suspect you mean: Has it helped them discover that my app is useful for them? Yes! > Does the free version need to have its own package name?
