hey thanks a lot Kostya Vasilyev and Chris Stratton for your kind reply :) i resolved the issue by adding <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"></uses- permission> tag to Launcher application manifest . Thanks a lot once again :)
