Hi All, I've been trying to create an widget that requires refreshing approximately every minute.
Though there is quite a lot of material on the web, I haven't managed to find a working solution. One such solution is creating a Java initialized timer - this doesn't work because eventually this timer dies (I'm assuming android kills this thread). Another proposed is using TIME_TICK, however, that doesn't work in widgets.
