I wonder if if would be better to modify Gallery or ListView to get a HorizontalListView?
Even after cutting out the header/footer stuff there are lots of top/ bottom and up/down details in ListView that would need to change. Fundamentally there doesn't seem to be a reason for ListView to not work horizontally... Also I gotta wonder if this has not been done a 100 times already.
