For reasons that I cannot discover, on my Windows Vista platform, the version 8 Android SDK Manager cannot access the repository URL at https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml nor the alternate directory at http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml.
However, I can browse to both these URLs just fine. Is there a way I can manually download the appropriate SDK and install it in the correct platform folder?
