Our issue – when we 1st started uploading applications to the app store around 18 months ago we made a certificate to sign these and upload. At the time there was no requirement on the expiry length of these, since then all certificates need to expiry no earlier than 2033. We therefore need to resign our apps and upload them we cannot update them. When we try and do this we get an error saying –
“Market requires that the certificate used to sign the apk be valid until at least October 22, 2033. Create a new certificate." We have tried signing with both the old certificate and new certificate at the same time, but get "The apk must be signed with the same certificates as the previous version." Does this mean the only way to do this is upload the application again as a new application? We have several apps and this would be a problem for anybody that has already purchased these apps and want to get updates.
