Hi, I have few questions. I have searched on google and android related forums, but I have not found much relevant details. 1. Froyo uses stagefright and pvcore for media playback. Gingerbread says that "New media framework fully replaces OpenCore, maintaining all previous codec/container support for encoding and decoding". So is it stagefright?
2. I am looking for some architecture documents of stagefright. Please provide a link. 3. Will media framework keep on changing for every new andoid release? If so then what are the guidelines for 3rd party codec integrators. Theoretically I do not want to keep integrating my codecs every time a new android is released. So are there any guidelines for future- proofing? Regards, Neelakanth -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
