Hi Dianne,
Now I've been trying to add Indian regional language
translation for System Ui hoping it will helpful to others too.
I noobe to this
I did following things,
downloaded source code for froyo
compiled it using make command and I got system image in
the out folder. I can run emulator by using that system image.
And I am aware that there is resource for each language for a
application(eg.calcualtor).
then I added code for my regional language(ml_IN) to
PRODUCT_LOCALES which is in build/target/product/languages_full.mk
did same to
build/target/product/languages_small.mk .And provide a language
resource file for calculator application (values-ml)
again I compiled it add system image to emulator it did not
produce any result
what I am missing, please point me to right direction
Thanks for your valuable time
Regards,
Kariyachan
