Hi!

I never really use the xml stuff, maybe there's something you can do
there, I don't know.
However, if you use a surfaceview, you can store the height and width
that are given to you in surfaceChanged() and use those as offsets for
your components when you draw on the canvas.
That way you know how big the screen is, and can "move" your origin.
