HI David, yeah, analytics works fine for me in the emulator (*) (*) depending on the avd you use. One of my avds was built from a custom rom with a custom hosts file that denied access to the analytics site and my logcat just filled up with exceptions "unable to resolve url" every ten seconds. But if you use all the default Android/Google avd's, this shouldn't be a problem at all.
I tend to find the analytics are available about 24 hours later.
