I don't go by "GOD", but you haven't give me context to understand when the first batch of code was being executed or why you needed to call addView on your ViewFlipper (when just being an existing child of it would be sufficient). Or why you are using ViewFlipper instead of ViewSwitcher. I've not had trouble with these things in the past.
