Ok, sorry if I've confused things! What I ideally want is to be able to view PDFs in my own app, and control the frame which they sit within. So for example, if I were designing the app for a tablet with a larger screen, I may have a list of PDFs in a narrow frame on the left side of the screen, and clicking them opens them up in a frame covering the rest of the available screen space. What I am trying to avoid is the PDF opening up in a new activity obscuring the list. Just like a standard web page, really.
